✅ Are your number plates road legal?
Yes. All of our road-legal styles — including Standard, 3D Gel, and 4D Acrylic — comply with UK DVLA regulations. This includes correct spacing, character size, font, reflectivity, and the inclusion of our supplier details as required by law.

🚚 How long does delivery take?
Production typically takes 1–3 working days. Delivery usually takes an additional 2–3 days, depending on your chosen shipping method. Please allow up to 10 days after dispatch before raising a delivery concern.

🆔 Why do I need to present documents?
To comply with DVLA legislation, we must verify your identity and your entitlement to the registration number before we produce any road-legal plates. This ensures your order is both legal and secure.

🛑 What would make a plate illegal?
Plates become illegal if they feature incorrect font, spacing, character size, or unapproved customisations like coloured characters or backgrounds. All road-legal plates must meet strict DVLA formatting standards.

2. 3D Gel Plates

💡 What are 3D Gel plates?
These plates use raised characters made from a high-gloss gel resin. The result is a shiny, domed look that gives your registration a smooth, premium 3D effect.

💪 Are 3D Gel plates durable?
Absolutely. The gel coating is weatherproof, UV resistant, and built to withstand car washes, road debris, and daily wear without fading or cracking.

🧽 How should I clean 3D plates?
Use lukewarm soapy water with a soft cloth or sponge. For tougher dirt, a soft brush can be used gently. Avoid harsh chemicals or blasting directly with a pressure washer.

📏 What sizes do you offer?
We offer a full range of sizes including standard UK plates, short plates (13", 16", 18") and hex-shaped designs.

🔄 Can I return or cancel a custom plate?
As number plates are custom-made, cancellations can only be accepted before production begins. Returns aren’t accepted once a plate has been manufactured unless there's a fault.

3. 4D Acrylic Plates

🔍 What are 4D plates?
4D plates feature precision laser-cut acrylic characters bonded onto a high-quality plate face. The result is a sharp, defined, bold 3D effect — thicker and more angular than gel styles.

✅ Are 4D plates road legal?
Yes. As long as they adhere to DVLA rules for spacing, font, and size, 4D plates are completely legal and MOT compliant.

🚫 Can I get coloured or neon characters?
Due to recent DVLA regulations, only solid black characters are allowed on road-legal plates. Neon or coloured 4D characters are not permitted for use on public roads.

5. Care & Maintenance

🧽 How do I clean 3D and 4D plates?

  1. Rinse off dirt with water

  2. Wash with mild soap and a microfiber cloth

  3. Use a soft brush gently for stubborn dirt

  4. Rinse again and dry with a soft towel
    Avoid high-pressure washers directly on raised elements or using abrasive products.

6. Legal & Compliance

✅ What makes a plate road legal?

  • Correct spacing and font

  • Reflective white (front) and yellow (rear) backgrounds

  • No tints or coloured characters

  • Supplier details and BS code printed on the plate
    All road-legal orders must include proof of ID and registration entitlement.

7. Warranty & Satisfaction
